About me: Hello! I mainly started this site to have an outlet for and to improve my writing. I was a college student with grand journalistic aspirations before I worked for a couple newspapers & quickly tired of covering local council meetings. I entered Corporate America and started missing the outlet that covering those painful meetings provided me.

So, celebrity gossip, breaking news, useless trivia – you name it and I will not only read it, but learn everything I can about it and tell the closest 500 people. Shame I didn’t put this talent to use in my organic chem classes.

About the blog: “Lorem Ipsum” is the standard text used by printers & typesetters to fill space when they’re designing a layout. It’s thought to be meaningless (and pretty much is, since only doctors, lawyers and SAT tutors use it), but it’s actually a passage from Cicero’s “The Extremes of Good and Evil”. I figure this blog will be mostly Lorem Ipsum – random thoughts that a few might find facinating. I hope you’ll find something fun & interesting here – suggestions appreciated!
